Easily the best skate spot on the east coast and maybe the united states. The city of Philadelphia finally started enforcing its ban on skateboarding in 2002. The spot is completely made of granite and has ledges, benches, planters, a huge fountain gap, tons of flat perfectly setup for runs. Across the street is city hall which has stairs, railings, and even more ledges.

I love this park, I never got a chance to skate though. I was there and wanted to skate it so bad but there was like 3 security guards there that day. Wish I could be there for Go Skateboarding Day.
